Council 2022-2026 Candidate Statement
Trade unionist, LGBTQ+, campaigner for equality in surgery.
I want a BMA that truly represents our doctors and their diversity.
For pay restoration.
We deserve a fighting union! #VoteBroadLeft
No more empty promises or headlines. Our union must campaign to deliver support to all its members, full pay restoration, equality in opportunities and outcome, and safe working conditions. I will continue to demand better resources for local reps, equality and bystander training for all members, and awareness campaigns on current issues.
Excellent national records on Medical Students Committee, including changes to SJT and UKFP recruitment following the 2021 disasters. Currently on Yorkshire JDC and Bradford LNC, fighting for better pay, safe rotas and working conditions.
As an aspiring neurosurgeon, I will demand for LGBTQ+ representation,
I stand alongside other Broad Left candidates as part of a slate, working together to fight for our rights and a better BMA. Please, vote for us all!
